Yesterday I finally went to court after a long battle with my ex for custody of my princess Destiny. I must say the day was hilarious! 1st they called the cfi (child family investigator) to the stand who witnessed how she felt i was the better parent according to what she observed and other ppl she had talked with. My ex acting as his own attorney (who also is a high school drop out) cross examined her and basically called her a liar, the judge was so annoyed he told the lady she could go ahead and be done, even though stupid wasn't done w her. Next it was my turn, and I swear I think my ex really enjoyed this role playing Perry Mason! It was an act made for a comedy show! When all done it was decided that I have full custody and he may see her every other weekend.
I was hoping it wouldn't have had to go this far. I know he loves his daughter in a little to obsessive way. but when he decided he was going to try and bad mouth me with his delusional slander and attempt to take my baby away from me forever. The truth came out about him and his lies & munipulation. I am so thankful that he was seen for the bastard that he is. Hopefully one day he will realize the monster he is and hopefully if he can swallow his pride he will get help. Until then I will continue to be the best mommy I know how to be.
